There is a vast range of services from those such as the Home Front Memorial service in March 2000 attended by the Queen, Prime Minister and Archbishop of Canterbury and services for special times of the year such as Advent, Epiphany, Candlemas, Maundy Thursday and Easter.

Special Services are shown at the bottom of this page, please scroll down and note those services you would like to attend: all are welcome and please introduce yourself to any member of the Servers Team after the service.

Below is a list of services and events which are taking place at the Cathedral in the coming months all are welcome:

Sunday Services

8.00 am Holy Communion

Based on the Book of Common Prayer. We share this service with our next door neighbour, and the location alternates between the Cathedral and Holy Trinity Church monthly. A sign will guide you to the right place.

10.30 am Cathedral Eucharist

Lasting just over an hour, usually with sung liturgy and using modern language. We sometimes have visiting preachers. All communicant members of other denominations are welcome to receive communion. There is also a Children's Church. Coffee and squash are available after the service. Servers are on duty for this service.

4.00 pm Choral Evensong

A traditional sung Prayer Book service with beautiful music and a short address. The service is about an hour long. Servers are only required for special Evensongs.

6.30 pm Cathedral Praise

Cathedral Praise is an informal weekly service with worship band, readings, testimonies and a Bible-based talk. An hour or so long with Holy Communion during the service on the first Sunday of each month.

Please feel free to come along and join us for these services and to introduce yourselves to us after the service.
